Fact: Decyl Glucoside is a mild, naturally derived surfactant widely used in personal care products. It is derived from the sugar content of corn/potatoes and coconut/palm oil. Decyl Glucoside is primarily utilized for its cleansing properties and its ability to produce a rich and stable foam. It effectively removes dirt, excess oil, and impurities from the skin and hair without causing dryness or irritation. This makes it suitable for various cleansing formulations, including shampoos, body washes, facial cleansers, and hand soaps. An advantage of Decyl Glucoside is its mildness, making it suitable for sensitive skin and delicate areas. It is known for its gentle yet effective cleansing action, leaving the skin feeling refreshed and moisturized.
