The journey began back in December of 2023 when I was referred to a web developer to bring my vision to life. I had a clear plan in mind: subscription tiers, an Ingredient Encyclopedia, Cosmetic Glossary, and a directory of raw material suppliers. With eagerness and optimism, I hired the developer and paid in full, expecting a quick turnaround of 2 to 3 weeks.

However, as days turned into weeks and weeks into months, I found myself in a frustrating waiting game. Despite my patience, the promised completion date came and went without any tangible progress. It wasn't until 10 days ago that I finally received word that the job was complete.

Excited to see the results of my investment, I eagerly reviewed the work, only to find that it didn't meet my expectations. The navigation was clunky, making it difficult for you, our valued subscribers, to explore and engage with the content. As a single mother of three, I faced financial constraints that prevented me from seeking alternative solutions earlier in the process.

Thankfully, just when I thought all hope was lost, a colleague stepped in to save the day. Over the course of the last 10 days, they tirelessly worked to make the necessary adjustments, ensuring that our blog is user-friendly and accessible to all.

This experience has taught me valuable lessons about perseverance, resilience, and the importance of surrounding yourself with a supportive community. While the road may have been longer and more challenging than anticipated, I'm grateful for the opportunity to finally share my expertise in cosmetic formulation with you.
